Kanban Maturity Model outside IT
The Kanban Maturity Model has many uses, one significant benefit is the structured guidance it provides for coaches and practitioners to assess the needs of their organization and select the best choice for experimenting with improvement. Not only are the ‘steps’ for evolving and maturing a general practice laid out, the model includes a description of the kind of results you should see once successful adoption is reinforced.
In this final workshop participants will be presented with three case studies from organizations that have begun their evolutionary journey toward fitness for purpose.
- Public Sector - Intake and Document Production
- Sales and Book Publishing
- Industrial organization approaching ML4
Each case is presented by someone involved.
We will review the starting condition of the organization, then hear from the practitioners and coaches what they did, and they’ll tell us the results and current situation.
The participants will then use a simplified KMM worksheet to help themselves identify recommended next actions to take, or next specific practice to implement. We will present the conclusions from our discussions to each other.
